Remarks & Notes

An unusual sight on Class 1 railroad, two EMD GP38-2 lead a westbound empty hopper on the Pittsburgh Line. Normally empty coal trains do not need a pusher set, but with 4-axle power leading, the train required a pusher set to make the grade from Altoona to Gallitzin.
