| NS 3376 brings SA22 out of Browns Yard located on the Amboy Secondary onto the Gillespie Branch on its way to the Ameristeel Plant in Sayreville. The Gillespie Branch was one of the few lines Conrail built after taking over the majority of rails in the Northeast. Conrail built the branch to connect the Amboy Secondary ex-PC with the ex-Raritan River Railroad which led to the eastern portion of the ex-RRRR to be abandoned between Sayreville and South Amboy. |
