| Stack train 20G hugs Mt Washington as it winds it's way south. This stretch of track saw the 2nd track installed in 1993-1994 to prepare for trains like this one. The Monongahela Incline is visible above the 10th or so car; the P&LE station is the large building to the right. The former PRR Panhandle bridge used to form a wye with the Mon Line at "Monon" Tower many years ago. Today, the Panhandle is used for PAT Transit's light rail system. |
