| Union Pacific FEF #844 charges eastbound for Winnemucca at Sand Pass, Nevada. The train was on its way back to Wyoming after making a trip west to the San Francisco Bay Area. The weather report the day before this picture was taken was showing big storms with lots of rain which kept a lot of photographers away. Unfortunately for them, the weather turned out to be picture perfect leaving only a small handful of chasers and the passengers riding to capture the moment. |
