The purpose of the annual 5-day Southeastern Old Threshers reunion is to give 1000s of visitors the chance to see what rural life was once like. Of course there are steam train rides, and here a run is passing a recreated village complete with a working blacksmith shop, a general store, church, stables, corn crib, and, naturally, equine-powered threshing.
