| A few days prior to the photo date both Cs3 & 603 had failed on seperate Southern & Silverton services & were detached at Werris Creek along with portions of their loading due to the steep grades over the Liverpool range ahead. C502 & C503 having arrived from the south as a light engine movement earlier in the day collected the failed loco's & loading before returning back south on the afternoon of 19th October 2007.The train #5144 is pictured on the 1 in 40 grades climbing into Ardglen crossing loop near the top of the Liverpool Range. |
