SP 4449 leads a string of private cars through Montana on one of the most scenic routes in the USA. By far one of the most thrilling (and challenging) chases I've ever participated in. Kudos to the various groups that made this historic trip possible!

This powerful and beautiful 4-8-4 Northern type steam locomotive hauled the Coast Daylight and other SP varnish. It came back from retirement to haul numerous specials and excursions, including the American Freedom Train.
