It was only in a fleeting moment at the end of the day that this scene of loaded coal train C-JRMPED0-36A slowing to a stop at Caballo Junction could be captured. As the sunset's golden rays glinted off the flank of the train, the asphalt surface of Bishop Road released stored heat back into the air and the mass of dark clouds on the horizon indicated that thunderstorms continued to roam the plains. Shortly the Rojo helpers would tie on to the westbound load, but by the time the train, now with five units, would begin the climb to the summit of White Tail Hill, the hills in the distance would be entirely in shadow, bringing to a close another typical Wyoming summer day.
