| MDDE 801 is former CR 8641 (PC 8641) which continues to wear a special “Conrail Express" paint scheme. The unit was part of an attempt to strengthen relationships with 18 short line railroads which connected to Conrail in the late 1990s. The unit is seen here pulling out of Frankfort, DE on its way south to Snow Hill, MD after picking up 5 cars from the Norfolk Southern interchange. |
