| On the last day of August, 2009, the Canton Cannonball crew of engineer Dave Henry and conductor Josh Flatley enjoy the peace of the Spoon River Valley as they drag a train of thirty cars westbound on Monday afternoon. You can barely see the passing siding here, used by the Toledo Peoria & Western Railway many years ago to meet road trains between LaHarpe and East Peoria.
Now nature is reclaiming the area.
