| This is the regular passenger train 8545 from Koblenz to Waldshut at 12.15 PM, on this particular day with a special composition: Mallet Ed 2x 2/2 196 of the former Centralbahn from 1893 is pulling a "Schinenenbus" (diesel rail bus) set of the Deutsches Dampflokomotiv Museum Neuenmarkt (DDM) and former Deutsche Bundesbahn over the Rhine bridge, which is crossing the Swiss/German border. From 1982 to 1994 such rail buses where regular on this short gap of only 3.3 kilometre. |
