    Remarks & Notes
Loosely inspired by Richard Steinheimer, A Passion For Trains, Plate 97. If you compare the two, of course, you realize instantly why Steinheimer is Steinheimer and Mrozek is Mrozek. I hope to find a better location one day where I can get the pole lines closer in the foreground and try a shot that resembles his rather than being a wedgie with an emphasis on poles.

    Railroad Pole Lines

Album created by member Matt Weldon
    Album Views: 40,720
Photos showing the railroad pole lines. The pole line used four basic electrical circuits - telegraph, telephone, signaling, and power. Modern technologies of fiber optics, microwave, radio, satellite, and computers have been replacing the pole lines.
