One of the most impressive bridges of the L?tschbergbahn is the Bietschtal viaduct on the southern ramp, bridging the gorge with a main span of 95 metre. A container train of SBB Cargo from Basel to Domodossola with locomotives Re 4/4 II and Re 6/6, together also called a "Re 10/10", is on the way down to Brig.
