Victorian Christmas. This gentleman and his gorgeous team of Norwegian Fjord Horses have become regulars at the WW&F's annual Victorian Christmas event. Beginning around 11 AM, and continuing until just before dark, they provide sleigh rides for railroad patrons in the fields around Alna Center Station. The little filly on the viewer's left might appear to be camera shy, but she's really peering over her teammate's mane, checking out the steam engine. No kidding. Before the train arrived, the owner advised me that she was really nervous around the trains and sure enough, when #10 arrived in Alna Center, that horse couldn't take her eyes off the little locomotive.
