| WC wasn't the only railroad to have power trouble during the rough winter of 1996. UP was forced to lease a number of LS&I U-boats to keep its operations fluid in Upper Michigan. UP 3942 and LS&I 3006.3004 pass the cars waiting on the dumper track as they slowly make there way into the ore yard at Escanaba. |
