A Union Pacific Stockton, CA to Provo, UT coal empty rambles east along the south shore of the Great Salt Lake approaching CP C766 Smelter where the Shafter, Lynndyl and Salt Lake Subdivisions all come together. The rugged Stansbury Mountains appear along the western edge of Tooele Valley.
