| Westbound U783 ducks under the C&O signals at E. Alleghany. The C&O signals west of JD Cabin in Clifton Forge are still in place on the Alleghany Subdivision, but between Richmond and Clifton Forge is another story. All but nine signals have been replaced. The nine lucky once are between Balcony Falls and the West End of Alpine on the James River Subdivison, but come May 3, 2010 they won't be so lucky. The C&O signals will be turned off and taken down while the new signals will be turned on. Canon EOS 50D |
