| The Soo Line normally used this big Russel plow that was assigned to Gladstone for the serious snows that would fall in Upper Michigan. They also had a couple Jordan spreaders that would be seen on occasion. Years later winter equipped ballast regulators most often replaced movements like these. Here GP35 726 is pushing X183 West with a flanger and cab on a bitter Feb. day in 81. |
