| An old Milwaukee switchstand and platform is situated at the east end of an unused industry track. The platform would protect a crewman from a steep drop to riverbed below. In the distance, WSOR's L464 job is paused as the crew takes five at a local convenience store before continuing east. This line is slated for rebuild as a part of Amtrak HSR from Milwaukee-Madison. In days of yore it was a passenger secondary to the state capital for the MILW and has languished in the last 50 years. |
