As the last light of day begins to fade, Union Pacific's Provo, UT to Hinkle, OR manifest heads west through the Jordan Narrows on the approach to Riverton, Utah. The 7606, a GE ES44AC was about four months old at the time of this photograph. Union Pacific refers to this GE model as the C45AC-CTE.
