| An outbreak of arson-ignited forest fires burned for weeks in Eastern Kentucky in early spring and threatened lives and property, including this Myra Shifter. Wind-fueled flames up to 20 feet tall or more came dangerously close to this former Chessie System C&O caboose which is used on long trains on the SV&E. |
