| UP 7708 and 7718 lead UP's MNPWC-25 west through Lake Point on the old Los Angeles & Salt Lake Route. The train was a true drag freight: 142 cars, 15,376 tons and 8825 feet in length. It was run 2x2 DPU and was moving along at a blistering 19 mph up Erda Hill. In the distance is Kessler Peak of Utah's Oquirrh Mountain Range. |
