| While a teenaged couple watches from their interrupted swim in the Sespe Creek, the McCloud River #18 (2-8-2) makes its first run from Santa Paula to Fillmore, on its way to starring in the feature film "Water for Elephants." The Mikado pulled the train in order to give it a shakedown run. It is not reported to be used for other public excursions at this point in time at least. |
