| New lease on lifeA veteran GP50 rests outside the Tennille freight house at Milepost 135. The GP50's were on the brink of extinction but a combination of the recession and the current upswing of traffic have brought them back, atleast temporarily. The freighthouse in the background has been decaying for many years but when I went by that day I was very happy to see that there was restoration work being done, with the platforms being completely rebuilt. |
