    Remarks & Notes
The Benzini Brothers circus is in town! The Benzini Brothers circus is in town! McCloud River Baldwin Mikado #18 switches movie prop cars for the 20th Century Fox feature film "Water for Elephants" at its temporary home on the Fillmore & Western. Mikado #18 was built by Baldwin for the McCloud River and is presently owned by the Virginia & Truckee. It was trucked in for the shoot due to its friction bearings. I waited around nearly two hours after everyone else, hoping for this shot with the side finally lit.
