| One of only four late model F3's left on the Soo's roster at the time, heads an extremely late train 911 a couple miles west of Trout Lake. It's been over 30 years but I seem to remember that the F3's were quite unpopular with engine crews as they were supposedly the last Soo units with manual transition. Right at what passes for sunset on a cloudy winter evening the 2200B leads GP9 405 and F7A 2230A along with 109 cars on the way to Gladstone. By summer the venerable F3 would be retired. |
