| By the summer of 2001 train GBSOA was usually a late afternoon eastbound which severely limited the amount of available photo locations. During the long summer days the line into Sault Ste. Marie would take a more or less North-South alignment near Dafter which allowed for fair pictures if you were lucky enough to get a clear evening. In this photo taken after 7PM WC 6627,2061,7524 are about 8 miles out of Sault Ste. Marie, MI passing through the small town of Dafter. |
