| The Spokane - Everett general freight blasts out of the west portal Winton Tunnel, the third bore placed in quick succession in order to cross through the ridges from Chumstick Valley to the Nason Creek Valley. The Chumstick route bypassed the Tumwater line in the 1928-29 GN ROW re-alignment. |
