In March 1997 the Illinois Central was running intermodel trains from Chicago, IL, to Council Bluffs, IA, over the old CC&P. Here westbound I-11 blast thru Benson curve east of New Hartford with a pair of red CC units and a decent size train. The train just left Waterloo about 12 miles back.
