Coal empties run north behind consecutive generations of General Electric AC-power. When I lived in North Dakota, I liked to get a grain elevator in the background for those across-the-field-type profile shots, but those are few and far between along the Front Range. So, I had to settle for Pikes Peak as a suitable substitute!
