Kale McConnell-19 year old fireman has worked his way up from "kid" to "boy" and become a crew favorite. At 19 Kale already has 10 years on the railroad and is my other half.
John Stein- "Extra board" fireman .
Dace Rowe- Conductor. In a previous life, Dave was an engineer for the enormous US Steel Minntac Iron Ore Mine in MN's Iron Range.
Frank Chistopherson- Engineer. Frank is the cream of the crop. He started firing on steam engines back in the GN days, and worked for the GN, BN, and BNSF until the late 1990's. Frank was the engineer of the Burlington Northern's ARES test system, and toured the country on the BN #7151. One of the best engineers this side of the Mississippi.
Jeff- Student steam engineer. Must be nice learning under Frank.
