| After having left his train of loaded gravel hoppers in La Noria station siding, Buenos Aires al Pacifico's ALCo. RSD16 #8500 has returned with the empties and is waiting for a clear block at Ca?uelas Empalme Sud tower. The brick and frame structure, 66 kilometers from Buenos Aires, houses a signal operator who controls the junction of the mainline and a secondary line to Empalme Lobos and points south. |
