| This view looks north from the cab of the second unit on a southbound export coal train winding its way along the spectacular Turnagain Arm beneath the snow shrouded peaks of the Chugach Range. With a sharp eye one can see the DPU helpers cut into the train 37 cars deep in this view from the second of 3-MACs (ARR 4004, 4012, 4328) on the head end of this 10,765 ton 74 car train. Note: the photographer is a railroad employee with permission to ride and was wearing all required PPE while taking this photograph. |
