| A P&W local crew cruises up the Amtrak mainline past some rickety ex New Haven industrial spurs at Atwells Interlocking in the capital of the great state of Rhode Island. With one empty gon as a spacer the train consists of solid empty ethanol tanks pulled from the Motiva facility at the Port of Providence. Freight business is but a shadow of it's former self in post industrial New England, but striking scenes can still be had if one is lucky and knows where to look. |
