| During the famed "Blizzard of '93" in the northeast, the snow fell so hard in the Pittsburgh area that the majority of the day appeared "dusk-like". Track workers and maintainers struggled to keep switches cleaned and signals operable. During one of the periods that traffic was able to move, an eastbound freight passes under the signal bridge at Ardara. |
