Remarks & Notes

Today, the former C&O yard and engine facility at Gladstone, VA is nothing but an overgrown field, filled with grass and scrub brush. At best, one or two tracks remain. Back on October 17, 1970, it was a busy yard and crew change point. U25B No. 8118 and SD40 No. 7480 were being serviced at the modest engine facility.
