Remarks & Notes

Rebuilt SD45 462 idles in front of the B&O station at East Salamanca, NY. The crew is called to head south on the SIJB. The 455 has also been rebuilt with a 16-cylinder prime mover, but the 460, still proudly in her SP paint, still has 20 cylinders and is designated an SD45-2 by the B&P.
