    Remarks & Notes
CN 3254, probably the biggest steam locomotive in the Northeast, digs in hard on the 1.5% hill with the "Ice Train," a heavy steel consist consisting of many cold, motion resistant bearings. With only two slips, the evil looking '54 shows that it means business! If you want to go for a ride in '54's cab, see my video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kA3desXxdso. Photographers note: this was shot on my Canon 40D with my manual focus 300mm Nikkor.
