      Remarks & Notes
The famous wildlife and railway artist David Shepherd leans out of the cab of his locomotive BR 9F No 92203 Black Prince to watch the fly-past of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) which is the Royal Air Force flight commemorating World War II comprising an Avro Lancaster, a Supermarine Spitfire and a Hawker Hurricane. The fly past was a personal thank you to David for a day the crews spent with him and his loco on the GWR. This shot was later presented to David by Steam Railway Magazine.
