    Remarks & Notes
A trip south on Hwy 421 in Indiana found this gem, a US&S DW wig-wag signal. Restored with a tear drop bell, cast iron crossbucks and an oil burning lamp above the banner. The pannels on the top of the banner would block the lamps as it was swinging to make it appear as a flashing light. The stars streak in this over 6 minute exposure.

Hard to find today, wig-wags are interesting grade crossing protection.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
