| Southern Pacific SD40T-2 8276 lends Amtrak #11, the southbound "Coast Starlight," an assist on May 12, 1984. The train is rounding the last curve of the trip as it passes Mission Tower and Los Angeles' Twin Towers Correctional Facility (the world's largest jail!) adjacent to Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal. |
