| It was a very steamy morning along the New River as a westbound manifest pulled through the yard at Quinnimont, WV on Aug. 19, 1975. The sun had just popped over the ridge and the local "yard dog" on the tower platform seemed very unimpressed with the train's arrival. As far as the "hardhats" to the right are concerned, I don't have a clue. I can only assume there was some engineering problem that needed their attention. |
