Just another pretty day on the Silverton Branch. A Denver & Rio Grande Western Express Passenger Train departs the water stop at Tank Creek and highballs south toward Rockwood, Colorado on a brilliant winter afternoon. This is one of many beautiful scenes planned and executed by Willow Creek Productions and the crew of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad on a 2-day charter. The photo spots were beautiful, the timing was impeccable, the execution superb and the sunshine wall-to-wall. Dave Gross and the D&S Team not only hit a home run with this event, they literally tore the cover off the ball!
