        Remarks & Notes
The very first non-steam locomotive built and used anywhere in North America sits at the CNJ enginehouse on a Saturday. Come Monday she'll work the carfloats to the Bronx like she did for decades. The FT's might have been the diesels that killed steam, but this little engine began the swing. Thankfully this historic artifact was saved after retirement in 1957 and is displayed today in her "deep-sea green" dress for all to admire at the B&O Museum in Baltimore. Ansco-Color restoration
