| The boss is in. A D&S K-28 Locomotive pulls a short varnish train off the loop track and into the Durango Depot area to kick off the 2010 Railfest "Parade of Trains". On board their private car "General Palmer" are D&S Owners Alan and Carol Harper, who will personally welcome no fewer than 5 additional trains in the next 25 minutes. The arrivals will include the line's two regular Silverton Trains as well as extra passenger trains pulled by Denver & Rio Grande Western #315, and Eureka & Palisade #4. The final arrival of the evening will be Rio Grande Southern Motor (Goose) #5. |
