| Works still continues on the new drawbridge at Burlington over the Mississippi River. Here an eastbound coal load crawls over the bridge at 10 mph on its way east towards Galesburg, IL. This project replaced the bridge’s swing span with a new lift span over the navigation channel, and widens the channel thru the bridge from 150 feet to 307 feet 6 inches |
