Remarks & Notes

The 2006 is Utah Railway's first GP38 to be repainted in Genesee & Wyoming's orange, yellow, and black livery. It is pictured at Midvale on the service track awaiting minor modifications prior to service. The locomotive was rebuilt and upgraded to GP38-3 specs in Panama City, Florida. A second GP38, the 2002 is now undergoing a rebuild and repaint in Panama City.
