A Utah Railway RUT311 local heads through Grant Tower, returning to Midvale from the refinery district in Woods Cross-North Salt Lake. The entire Grant Tower area was reconfigured a few years ago, making what used to be a 10 mph slow zone into today's 35 mph 'no train horn' quiet zone. To put it mildly, trains can now easily sneak up on you at Grant Tower!
