| Arctic Railroading - Well, not quite. Fairbanks is 125 miles south of the arctic circle, but with temperatures dipping routinely to 30 or 40 below zero you wouldn't know the difference! It's warmed up this Wednesday morning and it only about -20 as a yard unit emits a steam plume as it goes about its chores classifying an old Santa Fe pipe gon. |
