| The front truck is being worked on on SMS S12 #300 at Pureland Industrial Park. The ancient Baldwin is a mighty fine looking engine - as are many of the Baldwins that SMS has. It's amazing in 2011 to still find a place where Eddystone rules. This S12 was built for US Navy as #65-00372, then went to the Smokey Hill Railway as #1842. It was retired and donated to the Smokey Hill Railway Museum in Belton, MO, before being acquired and reactived by SMS in 1995. |
